Use the dedicated switch, then choose the single Conversation language both participants will speak. TCVoiceAI uses Original audio for this session.

Leave it off for transcription only, or select another language for both speakers' translated transcripts.

Use Automatic suggestions, or On request mode so Get suggestion appears only under eligible partner messages in History and Floating captions.

Same-language calls can still classify meaningful partner turns and generate a reply. Generated reply words use the shared translated-word allowance.
Private guidance
Because Same language requires Original audio, suggested replies appear in TCVoiceAI as private guidance instead of being played into the call automatically.
Floating captions
Keep recent recognized turns and the current suggested reply readable above supported full-screen calling apps without starting another recognition or translation job.
Saved per profile
A Conversation Profile can remember the same-language setup, Original audio mode, context, vocabulary, and transcript translation preference.
On-demand AI conversation output
Use the active profile’s local History to request a summary, decision list, action plan, focused answer, or follow-up draft after the call.

What to know before using this feature.
- The Same language switch replaces the two participant-language pickers with one Conversation language picker.
- Same-language sessions use Original audio. Translated voice becomes available again after turning Same language off and choosing two different conversation languages.
- When transcript translation is off, transcription itself sends no translation request and consumes no translated-word allowance.
- Suggestion routing and generation are separate from transcript translation. Generated primary-language reply words use the shared translated-word allowance at the active plan rate.
- On request mode can show Get suggestion under an eligible partner turn in History or Floating captions without generating or charging for a reply first.
- Floating captions show recent turns only; the complete local conversation remains in the active profile’s History.
- History remains optional and is stored locally per Conversation Profile on your Mac.
- CSV export represents transcription-only turns cleanly without adding empty translation sections.
- Requesting AI conversation output is a separate, explicit action and uses the applicable AI summary units.
- Speech recognition availability still depends on language support and permissions on the current Mac.
- Compatible calling apps still use TCVoiceAI Mic and TCVoiceAI Speaker for the two audio directions.
