Reusable call setup

Start recurring translated calls faster with Conversation Profiles

TCVoiceAI Conversation Profiles keep the setup for a contact, team, or recurring conversation scenario ready for the next call. The current release stores profiles locally on your Mac; TCVoiceAI is currently available on macOS, with Windows planned.

Recurring conversations

Prepare once, then return to the right call setup.

  1. 01

    Create a useful profile

Name a profile for a contact, team, customer, project, or conversation scenario you expect to use again.

  2. 02

    Save translation choices

Keep both languages, Translated voice or Original audio mode, conversation context, response timing, and contextual correction preferences together.

  3. 03

    Add relevant vocabulary

Pair names, company terms, product names, and industry language with the translation you prefer. Relevant terms can help listening and translation without guaranteeing a correction.

  4. 04

    Switch and start

Choose a profile from the compact sidebar, confirm your physical audio devices, and start with that profile's settings and local History.

What each profile keeps

A repeatable setup without mixing unrelated conversations.

Languages and conversation mode

Save your language, your partner's language, and whether the call should use spoken Translated voice or keep both real voices with Original audio.

Context and translation preferences

Keep the scenario description, faster-response choice, and contextual transcript-correction preference that fit this recurring conversation.

Custom vocabulary pairs

Store a term in each selected language so names and specialist phrases have a relevant listening hint and preferred translation when they appear.

Separate local History

Each profile has its own bilingual conversation History on your Mac, helping calls for different contacts, teams, and projects stay separate.

Quick sidebar switching

Move between profiles from the sidebar, search a larger profile library, and update the active profile after changing its quick settings.

Full profile manager

Create, duplicate, rename, edit, and delete profiles from one manager when you need more control over your saved setups.

From the macOS app

What Conversation Profiles do and do not store.

  • Conversation Profiles and their per-profile History are stored locally on your Mac rather than in the TCVoiceAI server database.
  • Profile names, contact labels, and the complete profile library are not sent to TCVoiceAI servers.
  • While a session is active, vocabulary for the language being recognized may be supplied to Apple Speech Recognition as contextual hints under your macOS settings and Apple's privacy terms.
  • Only matching vocabulary needed for a translation request is sent with that request, and the server is designed not to store it after the request completes.
  • Custom vocabulary can improve the chance of recognizing and translating relevant names or specialist terms, but it cannot recover omitted speech or guarantee a correction.
  • Existing language choices, conversation settings, and local History migrate automatically to the General profile when upgrading from an earlier app version.
  • Physical microphone and speaker choices remain device-level settings, so confirm them after switching Macs or changing audio hardware.
  • Conversation Profiles do not replace call routing. Compatible calling apps still use TCVoiceAI Mic and TCVoiceAI Speaker for the translated or original-audio route.
  • Deleting a profile also deletes that profile's saved local conversation History after confirmation in the app.
