Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

1. Service

Translate Chat Voice provides real-time voice translation for online calls on macOS. The downloaded macOS app creates TranslateChatVoice virtual microphone and speaker devices so compatible calling apps can route audio through translation while you remain in control of your call setup.

The app uses Apple Speech Recognition and macOS text-to-speech voices, then sends recognized text to our server for translation and optional AI summaries. The app does not provide voice cloning and does not require third-party virtual audio cable software.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. You may use the service worldwide where it is lawful and where our payment and platform providers can support access.

You are responsible for complying with laws, call-recording or consent rules, workplace policies, and the terms of any calling app or service you use with Translate Chat Voice.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

New accounts may receive a free 5-day trial. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Paddle. Plan limits are measured daily by translated words and AI summary units. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC.

Taxes, currency conversion, invoices, and payment compliance may be handled by Paddle during checkout. If a payment fails, a subscription becomes inactive, or a plan limit is reached, access to paid features may be limited until billing or allowance resets are resolved.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harass, defraud, abuse, compromise security, violate privacy, or process content you do not have the right to process. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, bypass limits, or interfere with the service.

5. Translation limitations

Machine translation, speech recognition, text-to-speech, virtual audio routing, and third-party calling apps can make mistakes or be unavailable. Do not rely on Translate Chat Voice as the sole source for legal, medical, financial, emergency, safety-critical, or other high-stakes communications. You are responsible for reviewing important translations before acting on them.

6. Privacy

Our privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy, and EU/EEA and UK privacy rights are summarized on the GDPR rights page. By using the service, you agree that we may process account, billing, translation, summary, diagnostic, support, and service usage data as needed to provide, secure, bill, and improve the service.

You are responsible for telling call participants when law, platform rules, workplace policy, or courtesy requires notice or consent for speech recognition, translation, transcripts, summaries, or local conversation history.

7. Third-party services

The service depends on third-party platforms and providers, including macOS, Apple Speech Recognition, macOS text-to-speech voices, Google sign-in, Paddle billing, OpenAI translation and summary processing, email delivery, hosting, and the calling apps you choose to use. Their availability, rules, supported regions, languages, and technical behavior may affect the service.

8. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription from your account billing page. Refund handling is described in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights that apply in your country or region.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@tcvoiceai.com.
